is a highly purified protein when injected into a specific area it allows the muscles relax hence preventing any muscular contraction which then prevent creases of the skin that will cause lines and wrinkles. what happens during the treatment?
The Procedure
Botox®/Dysport® is placed in the facial muscles via tiny injection using a very fine needle. The pain associated with this procedure is minimal. No local anesthetic is required and you will be able to resume normal activities immediately.
After injection, it takes 2-3 days for the Botox® / Dysport® to begin taking effect and up to 7 days to see the full effect.
