What is
PPx/Isolaz?

PPx/Isolaz Acne, Skin Rejuvenation, Acne, Pimple and Hair Removal Therapy, by Aesthera, is based on a unique form of technology that combines a gentle vacuum with a painless broadband light to effectively treat acne, rejuvenate skin and remove unwanted facial and body hair. The breakthrough technology, known as Photopneumatic Therapy, was rated one of the top three products at the 2007 American Academy of Dermatology and is the only form of technology to be approved by the FDA to effectively treat all forms of acne. PPx/Isolaz is also FDA-approved to treat pigmentation and to permanently reduce unwanted facial and body hair.

Is it right for me & what
happens during the treatment?

Absolutely. Whether you are male or female, younger or older and being treated for acne, skin rejuvenation or hair removal, PPx/Isolaz does not cause sensitivity to light and is safe and effective for all skin types. Acne sufferers who haven’t responded to topical treatments, antibiotics and other forms of laser find PPx/Isolaz to be an especially effective treatment. Clients who suffer from the occasional breakouts also find PPx/Isolaz to be a terrific way to deeply cleanse their pores and to maintain clean and clear skin. PPx/Isolaz Therapy is also a highly effective way to treat sun-damaged skin and pigmentation.

During a PPx/Isolaz Acne Treatment, a device is placed over the skin and the area to be treated is gently drawn into a vacuum, helping to cleanse your skin of blackheads and other impurities. A painless treatment light then flashes, helping to destroy the bacteria that causes acne and slough away excess oils and dead skin. Your skin is left cleaner and more radiant. During a PPx/Isolaz Skin Rejuvenation and Hair Removal Treatment, a device is placed over the skin and the area to be treated is gently drawn into a vacuum. A painless laser is then directed at the skin and the skin is gently released.

What else do I
need to know?

Does it hurt?

No. Unlike other kinds of laser technology, the PPx/Isolaz system is painless. Many of our Clients describe the feeling as being similar to a warm massage.

How long does each session take?

This depends on the area being treated, but PPx/Isolaz treatments are up to seven times faster than conventional light-based treatments so full face treatments can take as little as ten minutes while leg or back hair removal usually takes only about 20 to 45 minutes. Many of our Clients schedule their treatments for their lunch breaks.

How many treatments will I need and how soon will I see results?

Hair removal typically takes between 4 and 10 treatments for excellent long-term results. Clients are advised to return for a follow-up treatment once a year to maintain these results.

Clients who undertake PPx/Isolaz Therapy for the treatment of acne, large pores and skin rejuvenation usually require at least 6 treatments, though this varies from person to person. Like many of our Clients however, you may see immediate benefits following the first session. These benefits include decreased oil production, reduced redness, the drying-out of blemishes and cleaner, more radiant skin.

How long will the results last?

Are there any side effects?

PPx/Isolaz doesn’t require any downtime, so you can shave or apply makeup and return to your normal activities immediately after the treatment.
