PPx/Isolaz, is based on a unique form of technology that combines a gentle vacuum with a painless broadband light to very effectively treat acne, rejuvenate the skin and remove unwanted facial and body hair. The breakthrough technology, known as Photopneumatic Therapy, was rated one of the top three products at the 2007 American Academy of Dermatology and is the only form of technology to be approved by the FDA to effectively treat all forms of acne. This technology is also FDA-approved to treat pigmentation and to permanently reduce unwanted facial and body hair.
Whether you are male or female, younger or older and being treated for acne, skin rejuvenation or hair removal, PPx/Isolaz does not cause sensitivity to light and is safe and effective for all skin types. How does it work
During a PPx/Isolaz Skin Rejuvenation and Hair Removal Treatment, the designated treatment area is gently ‘drawn’ into the hygienic treatment tip of the PPx/Isolaz system hand piece. This ‘pulling’ motion brings the targeted areas closer to the surface of the skin and hence the energy required to eliminate the imperfection is dramatically reduced. Light energy, when gently applied to the targeted imperfection/hair follicle on the skin, is converted to heat energy which is absorbed by the imperfection/hair, quickly and painlessly in order to effectively eradicate the blemish/hair follicle

Does it hurt?
In a published clinical study, 100% of patients noted PPX/Isolaz treatments were painless. You may feel a small amount of pressure from the vacuum or a warm sensation during treatment, but you should not feel discomfort or pain.
I have acne on my back and chest; can PPX/Isolaz help?
Yes, PPX/Isolaz treatment is effective on body acne (back and chest) as well as facial acne.
Am I a candidate for PPX/Isolaz Hair Removal?
Any person who has dark hair on the face or body would be the right candidate for this treatment.
How long is an PPX/Isolaz treatment?
It depends on the area of the body or face being treated, but treatments on the face may take as little as 30 minutes. Body treatments may take a little longer depending on how large an area of the body it is being treated.
How many treatments will I need and how soon will I see results for both Acne problem and Hair Removal?
Hair removal treatment typically takes (depending on area being treated) between 4 to 10 treatments for excellent long-term results. Clients are advised to return for a follow-up treatment once a year to maintain these results.
Clients who undertake PPx/Isolaz Therapy for the treatment of acne, large pores and skin rejuvenation usually require a minimum of 6 treatments, though this varies from person to person. Like many of our Clients however, you may see immediate benefits following the first session. These benefits include decreased oil production, reduced redness, the drying-out of blemishes and cleaner, more radiant skin.

Is PPX/Isolaz safe on ethnic skin or darker skin color?
Our Advisor may refer to the term “skin type” when describing skin characteristics such as color. Whether you have fair or dark skin, all skin types, can be treated with PPX/Isolaz Acne and Hair Removal.
Is there downtime associated with the PPX/Isolaz treatment?
There may be mild redness that typically lasts less than an hour. You can go right back to your normal activities immediately post treatment.
Will I respond to PPX/Isolaz if I have not responded to Isotretinoin treatment (i.e. Accutane®)?
While everyone is different, many clients who have not responded to other acne treatments have responded very well to PPX/Isolaz treatments. Discuss with our Advisor about any medications you have tried or are currently taking, we can also find out more during FMH Skin Analysis session.
Am I a candidate for PPX/Isolaz treatment?
Anyone who has mild to severe acne may be a candidate. Acne doesn’t discriminate, so whether you are male or female, a teen or way past adolescence, PPX/Isolaz may be right for you. Clients who suffer from the occasional breakouts also find PPx/Isolaz to be a terrific way to deeply cleanse their pores and to maintain clean and clear skin.
Does PPX/Isolaz work 100% of the time for Acne skin or Hair Removal?
No acne or hair removal treatment can claim to work 100% of the time, but many clients who have not responded to other acne treatments, such as antibiotics, topical creams or even lasers have responded well toPPX/ Isolaz treatments. That’s because PPX/Isolaz treats multiple root causes of acne, like clogged hair follicles, reducing oil production and reducing the bacteria responsible for acne flare ups. In fact, studies have shown that clients who had PPX/Isolaz treatments achieved 90% acne clearance. How many treatments will I need?
Normally a minimum of 6 treatments are generally needed to get initial results. However, the exact number of treatments varies from client to client. FMH Advisors will speak with you about a specific treatment plan for you.
